Fanta Exotic was first launched in Norway in 2002 as a limited summer edition. The flavor quickly gained popularity, leading to its inclusion as a permanent offering in the Norwegian market. In Finland, Fanta Exotic was introduced prior to 2004, discontinued in 2004, and then reintroduced in 2012. In Germany, Fanta Exotic was available from 2002 to 2004, with subsequent reintroductions in 2016–2018 and 2019. The flavor features a tropical fruit blend, often including notes of orange, passionfruit, and peach, and has been a staple in various European countries.
